Susan lectures at the BCLA

On Sunday 31st of May 2009 Susan delivered her lecture on contact lenses for the ageing eye.  

Record numbers of delegates made this year’s Clinical Conference of the British Contact Lens Association the largest in its 33-year history.   

A total of 1,073 delegates registered over the four days of the conference, held in Manchester from May 28 – 31. This is the third successive year that the event has attracted more than 1,000 delegates. The BCLA Conference is now established as the premier event for contact lens professionals in the UK and worldwide. This year, just over half of those registered (54%) were from overseas (2008: 55%). Delegates came from 45 different countries, and the largest overseas delegations were from the USA (87) and Denmark (77), followed by Germany (39) and France (37).
