Lens Types

We can supply a wide range of lenses suitable for distance or close work, these can range from standard plastic to ultra hi-index to give the thinnest lightest finish to your lenses.

Our range of lenses can be hard coated to help reduce scratching of the lenses surface, anti-reflection coating to reduce reflections on the lenses and to make the lens as clear and as cosmetically appealing as possible, we can also supply photochromic lenses, these are lenses which react to light conditions outdoors to darken in bright conditions.

BiFocals are correct for two distances only, the corrections are usually for Near and Distance vision.

If and Intermediate vision correction is needed TriFocals may be required

The BiFocal line is clearly visable to the wearer and anyone looking at the glasses, There is no correction for intermediate vision.
