Signs and symptoms
Near vision may be blurred. Distance vision may not be a problem. May be experiencing experiencing headaches, caused by the eyes straining to focus.

Cause
If uncorrected, the lens in a hyperopic eye will focus light behind the retina. Near objects may be blurred for the customer.

Remedy
Introducing a plus (convex) lens in front of the eyes causes the image focus to be brought forward onto the retina, giving clear near vision, while maintaining distance vision.
